APS – Valley High School – Title IX Gymnasium Building Renovations and Addition 2015

Remodel of, and Addition to Existing Gymnasium Building of Valley High School, originally built in 1953 and located in the North Valley of Albuquerque, New Mexico.  Remodeled areas include renovations to the Main and Auxiliary Gymnasiums, Boy and Girls sports Lockers, P.E. Lockers, Wrestling Room, Training Area and associated Office and Support Areas (approximately 38,000 Square Feet), with an Addition including New Weight Training Facility, New Dance/Cheer/Multi-purpose space, New Lockers, Restrooms and Lobby Expansion (approximately 21,000 Square Feet).  To make way for the Addition, electrical demolition of (2) separate building was required, along with corresponding modifications to campus-wide 15kV Distribution Loop.   Electrical work associated with the Renovations and Addition includes a complete upgrade to the Incoming Electrical Service including connection into the campus-wide 15kV Distribution Loop, New Energy-efficient L.E.D. Lighting throughout, with new lighting controls throughout as required to meet Albuquerque Energy Codes, New / revised parking lot and pedestrian mall exterior lighting, new power distribution equipment, new power and voice/data outlets, new fire alarm, intercom, sound, security devices tied back into existing systems, electrical connections to new HVACR system equipment, electrical connection to new Elevator and New Photo-voltaic system on roof with associated utility tie.

PHS – Kaseman Hospital – Children’s Behavioral Health Remodel

Remodel and Code-Compliance Upgrade of an Existing 9,700 Square Foot Children’s and Adolescent Behavioral Health wing of Presbyterian - Kaseman Hospital, located in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  Electrical remodel included a new LED lighting throughout, new power and voice/data outlets, modifications to existing Fire Alarm, Security, Intrusion Alarm, Nurse Call and  Intercom Systems.

APS – APS Building M Renovations and Additions 2015

At the Albuquerque Public School’s Lincoln Complex, (1) remodel of, and additions to Building M, (2) site improvements, and (3) relocation of portable building from the APS Aztec Complex.  Remodeled areas include renovations to the existing print shop and teachers store, office space, and warehouse (approximately 75,000 square feet), with an addition including a new warehouse building and new training facility (approximately 34,000 square feet). To make way for the renovations and additions, the main electrical service was relocated along with corresponding modifications to the existing 15kV site distribution, and new service was extended to the relocated portable building. Electrical work associated with the renovations and additions includes a complete relocation and upgrade to the incoming electrical service including extension from the existing 15kV distribution feed, new LED lighting and lighting controls throughout, new exterior LED building and site lighting, new power distribution equipment, new power and voice/data outlets, new power feeds to modular walls and furniture, upgraded to the fire alarm system, upgrades to the access control and security systems, and electrical connections to the new HVAC units.

Kaibeto, Cow Springs and Coal Mine Mesa Housing

These projects consisted of demolishing the interior and exterior electrical systems of the existing dwelling units completely. Re-designing the lighting, utilizing Energy Star light fixtures throughout, installing new receptacle systems to meet current codes, incorporating voice/data systems to meet industry standards. The exterior of the units were equipped with new incoming electrical metering and disconnecting means per NTUA utility standards. The main service interior panels were up-dated to include 200 ampere service from the existing 100 ampere service. These projects also included a complete site electrical aerial distribution system as per NTUA recommendations and approvals.
